Estimator – Fit-Out
Location: United Arab Emirates
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Estimator – Fit-Out with a proven track record of delivering accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the design, procurement, and project teams to ensure profitable and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Review design drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, suppliers, and procurement teams to develop competitive and compliant bids.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost-effective pricing.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost summaries, and commercial tender submissions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering while maintaining quality and project standards.
• Analyze tender risks, assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Monitor UAE market rates, material costs, and fit-out industry trends.
• Support project handover processes by coordinating with execution and commercial teams.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of UAE experience in estimation for interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, gypsum works, flooring, ceiling systems, finishes, custom furniture, and MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Proven experience handling commercial, hospitality, retail, and office fit-out tenders.
Preferred Skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.
