Job Description
talabat is hiring a full-time Store Supervisor for an on-site position in Muscat, Oman.
The successful candidate will oversee the store’s end-to-end daily operations, including staffing, shift scheduling, ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, inventory control, order picking, packing and operating expense management.
The position requires 5–7 years of experience in supermarket or restaurant operations, along with the ability to lead employees, improve productivity, control costs and maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the store’s end-to-end daily operations.
Prepare employee schedules and organize shifts according to operational needs.
Select, supervise and assign responsibilities to store employees.
Oversee product ordering, receiving, stocking and storage activities.
Supervise the accurate picking and packing of customer orders.
Ensure orders are completed efficiently and according to established procedures.
Optimize the utilization of pickers by assigning multiple responsibilities effectively.
Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment requirements.
Issue product orders based on demand forecasts and physical stock assessments.
Prevent product shortages and excessive stock levels.
Implement effective inventory control and stock-counting processes.
Ensure inventory quantities and records are accurate.
Supervise inbound deliveries and verify received orders against company records.
Monitor fulfillment processes and recommend productivity improvements.
Ensure the assigned store achieves profitability and service objectives.
Manage store employees and ensure the effective use of available resources.
Monitor and control operating costs against the approved budget.
Implement measures to reduce inventory shrinkage and product losses.
Ensure equipment and store infrastructure are properly used and maintained.
Supervise routine and preventive maintenance activities.
Coordinate with maintenance contractors and third-party suppliers.
Implement hygiene, sanitation, security and safety standards.
Maintain a high level of internal and external customer service.
Discuss store issues with the Operations Manager and propose solutions.
Ensure the safe and appropriate use of material-handling equipment.

Requirements & Skills

Good knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment.
Experience in receiving, storing and issuing products.
