Job details
Tasks and Responsibilities:
(1) Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC control systems
for Chillers System, AHUs, Package Units, Split Units, and DX Split Systems.
(2) Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and control faults affecting
HVAC equipment.
(3) Test, calibrate, repair, and replace defective thermostats, temperature sensors,
pressure switches, flow switches, safety switches, control valves, solenoid valves,
relays, timers, contactors, and other control components.
(4) Inspect and maintain control panels, terminal blocks, control transformers, fuses,
circuit breakers, and associated control wiring.
(5) Verify the proper operation of safety devices, interlocks, control sequences, and
protection circuits.
(6) Trace and rectify control circuit failures using electrical drawings, wiring diagrams,
and control schematics.
(7) Perform continuity, insulation resistance, voltage, current, and control circuit testing
using appropriate test instruments.
(8) Replace damaged control cables, electrical connections, terminals, and other
defective components.
(9) Carry out functional testing and operational checks after maintenance to ensure
reliable and safe equipment operation.
(10) Record inspection findings, maintenance activities, component replacements, and
recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
Safety and Quality Responsibilities:
(1) Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely in accordance with electrical
Safety procedures and client requirements.
(2) Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain good housekeeping practices, and promptly report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
(3) Follow approved quality procedures by completing inspections, functional testing, and maintenance records to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with project quality requirements.
