Store Officer

Sharjah Agricultural and Livestock Production Corporation – Ektifa is hiring a Store Officer for a full-time, on-site position in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The successful candidate will manage inventory systems, oversee stock control activities, process purchase orders and ensure that all inventory records are accurate and up to date.
The role also includes monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and maintaining organized storage facilities to support efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and organize daily warehouse and store operations.
Oversee the receipt, inspection and storage of materials and products.
Manage the issuing and delivery of stock to relevant departments.
Maintain and regularly update inventory records and systems.
Monitor available stock quantities and inventory levels.
Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile them with system records.
Identify inventory discrepancies and investigate their causes.
Prepare, process and follow up on purchase orders.
Ensure that stock is replenished within the required timelines.
Organize storage locations and optimize the available warehouse space.
Maintain clean, safe and properly organized storage facilities.
Use inventory and warehouse management software.
Prepare reports on stock levels and inventory movements.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics and supply chain departments.
Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.

Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
Proficiency in stock control and stock management procedures.
Experience preparing and processing purchase orders.
Ability to maintain accurate and organized inventory records.
Proficiency in inventory or warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent organizational and storage management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across departments.
Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes is an advantage.

Preferred Academic Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields is preferred:
Business Administration.
Logistics.
Supply Chain Management.
Inventory and Warehouse Management.
Or a related field.
