The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the company’s operational and development projects.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance and strong financial control.

The role works closely with the Finance Manager, project managers, cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support the company’s financial health and growth.

🔹 Financial Accounting
🔺 Oversee day-to-day financial-accounting activities.
🔺 Manage accounts payable processes.
🔺 Manage accounts receivable processes.
🔺 Maintain and review the general ledger.
🔺 Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed on time.
🔺 Perform reconciliations and review account balances.
🔺 Maintain complete and properly supported financial records.

🔹 Financial Reporting
🔺 Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
🔺 Produce reports for real estate development and operational projects.
🔺 Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
🔺 Review financial results and investigate variances.
🔺 Provide reports and financial information to the Finance Manager.
🔺 Ensure reporting complies with accounting standards and company policies.

🔹 Project Budgets and Cash Flow
🔺 Monitor budgets for operational and development projects.
🔺 Track actual expenses and costs against approved budgets.
🔺 Monitor project cash flow.
🔺 Analyze financial variances and identify underlying causes.
🔺 Support the efficient use of financial resources.
🔺 Recommend actions to improve project financial performance.

🔹 Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
🔺 Ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry standards.
🔺 Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
🔺 Prepare and submit regulatory reports related to real estate projects.
🔺 Maintain records in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
🔺 Monitor relevant changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.

🔺 Conduct financial analysis supporting management decisions.
🔺 Analyze project costs, revenue and profitability.

🔺 Perform accounting activities using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
🔺 Enter and review financial data within the system.
🔺 Generate financial and analytical reports.
🔺 Ensure system records are accurate and supported by documentation.
🔺 Contribute to improving financial processes and system utilization.

🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration
🔺 Collaborate with project managers and development teams.

🔺 Support the Finance Manager with financial policies and procedures.

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in:
Accounting.
Finance.
Or a related field.
🔹 Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
🔹 Proven experience in projects or organizations operating in:
Commercial real estate.
Retail.
Entertainment.
🔹 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
🔹 Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is mandatory.
🔹 Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and general-ledger activities.
🔹 Experience monitoring project budgets, expenses and cash flow.
🔹 Knowledge of audit and taxation processes.
🔹 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Strong communication and coordination abilities.
🔹 Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
