Head of Finance

A Confidential company is hiring a Head of Finance for a full-time, on-site role based in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany within the manufacturing industry. This is a senior executive opportunity to join the German subsidiary of a leading international manufacturing group. The role will lead all finance operations and play a key role in business performance, financial strategy, operational excellence, growth, and transformation while working closely with the Group CFO.

Responsibilities:
Lead all finance, accounting, reporting, and controlling activities.
Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes and international financial reporting.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
Support investment decisions and hedging strategies.
Deliver financial insights and executive-level performance reporting.
Optimize and standardize finance processes, controls, and reporting structures.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
Support business growth, transformation, and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and reporting requirements in a highly regulated market.

Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required.
CPA, Chartered Accountant, Tax qualification, or equivalent professional certification is required.
Proven senior finance leadership experience within an international group environment is required.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
Strong strategic, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English is required.
Strong background in financial reporting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ability to lead finance teams and improve financial processes and controls.
Commercial mindset with the ability to support executive-level strategic decisions.
