Al-Mishraq Car Rental Company is seeking a highly experienced financial executive to join its leadership team in the following position:

🌟 Job Purpose
The Group Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial and accounting functions of the company and its subsidiaries.

The role is responsible for developing and executing the group’s financial strategy, managing liquidity and working capital, overseeing financial reporting and internal controls, and ensuring strong governance, compliance, profitability and sustainable growth.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
🔺 Develop and implement the group’s financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
🔺 Oversee the finance and accounting departments across the company and its subsidiaries.
🔺 Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
🔺 Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital and operational funding requirements.
🔺 Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans and periodic forecasts.
🔺 Analyze financial performance, identify variances and report results to executive management and the board.
🔺 Develop and strengthen internal-control, governance and financial risk-management frameworks.
🔺 Oversee internal and external audit activities and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
🔺 Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions and funding providers.
🔺 Negotiate credit facilities, financing arrangements and banking terms.
🔺 Prepare feasibility studies and financial evaluations for projects and investments.
🔺 Develop initiatives to improve profitability, reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
🔺 Ensure compliance with local laws, tax requirements and applicable financial regulations.
🔺 Oversee accounting systems, ERP platforms and financial reporting processes.
🔺 Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting teams.
🔺 Provide strategic financial recommendations to support investment and operational decisions.

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
🔹 An MBA or master’s degree in Finance is preferred.

🌟 Preferred Professional Certifications
One or more of the following certifications are preferred:
🔹 CPA – Certified Public Accountant.
🔹 ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
🔹 CMA – Certified Management Accountant.
🔹 CIA – Certified Internal Auditor.
🔹 CFA – Chartered Financial Analyst, considered an additional advantage.

🌟 Experience Requirements
🔹 At least 15 years of experience in accounting and finance.
🔹 At least seven years of experience as a Finance Director or Chief Financial Officer.
🔹 Previous experience with a major international or reputable local audit firm.
🔹 Strong practical experience in internal audit, internal controls and risk management.
🔹 Experience managing the financial operations of diversified groups or multiple subsidiaries.
🔹 Extensive experience preparing consolidated financial statements and board-level reports.
🔹 Experience dealing with banks, credit facilities and financial institutions.
🔹 Advanced knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
