Job Description
Thalathoun is hiring a Business Development Officer for a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, building long-term commercial relationships, and supporting the company’s growth across event management, corporate communications, and related professional services. The successful candidate will research the market, approach prospective clients, prepare commercial proposals, and manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities, target sectors, and prospective clients.
Contact potential customers and professionally present the company’s services and solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Prepare commercial and technical proposals and quotations in coordination with internal teams.
Follow up on business opportunities and negotiations through to contract closure.
Conduct market research and monitor competitors, trends, and potential opportunities.
Develop plans and strategies to increase sales and revenue.
Coordinate with events, marketing, and communications teams to meet client requirements.
Maintain accurate records of clients, leads, and business opportunities.
Follow up with clients after proposals and respond to inquiries.
Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and professional events.
Prepare regular sales, pipeline, and performance reports for management.
Contribute ideas for improving existing services and developing new business offerings.

Requirements & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify commercial opportunities and convert them into measurable business results.
Good proposal writing and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and responsibilities simultaneously.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in Arabic; English proficiency is preferred.
Knowledge of event management, corporate communications, or B2B professional services is an advantage.
