🌟 Job Purpose
The Accounting Officer is responsible for executing accounting activities related to domestic and international cargo revenue.

The role includes processing billing transactions, recognizing revenue, validating supporting documents and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and accounting requirements.

The position supports accurate financial reporting, timely revenue recognition and the successful completion of monthly and quarterly financial closing activities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
🔺 Accurately recognize cargo revenue after validating all supporting documentation.
🔺 Apply appropriate accounting principles and company policies when recording revenue.
🔺 Ensure that documentation supporting credit sales claims is complete and accurate.
🔺 Confirm that all required credit-sales documents are submitted on time.
🔺 Process billing and revenue-recognition activities for the assigned region.
🔺 Ensure billing activities are completed according to monthly and quarterly closing schedules.
🔺 Review revenue information and identify discrepancies or missing documentation.
🔺 Support the resolution of billing and revenue-related accounting issues.
🔺 Assist in preparing documents required for audits and financial reviews.
🔺 Support internal and external reporting and submission requirements.
🔺 Perform administrative tasks related to document control and financial records.
🔺 Collaborate with sales, billing and collections teams.
🔺 Support seamless revenue recognition and cash-application processes.
🔺 Maintain accurate and properly organized accounting documentation.

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
🔹 A degree in Business Administration, Economics or an equivalent discipline may also be considered.
🔹 Zero to four years of experience in accounting, revenue accounting or a similar field.
🔹 Fresh graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
🔹 Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
🔹 Ability to review invoices, supporting documents and financial data accurately.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
🔹 Ability to work according to monthly and quarterly financial closing deadlines.
🔹 Strong organization, communication and teamwork skills.
🔹 High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
