Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Core Extractor role based in Doha, Qatar. The Core Extractor is responsible for operating core drilling and extraction equipment to obtain samples from designated locations, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include setting up and inspecting equipment, preparing work areas, monitoring extraction processes, and documenting sample details such as depth, location, and quality. The role involves collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and laboratory staff to ensure cores are properly handled, labeled, stored, and transported for further analysis. The Core Extractor also assists with routine equipment maintenance, adheres to environmental and safety standards, and participates in shift-based operations as required.
Qualifications
• Experience with core drilling, extraction equipment, and basic mechanical tools, with the ability to perform routine equipment checks and minor adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills to accurately log sample information, operational data, and safety observations.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures, safety protocols, and quality guidelines in an on-site industrial or field environment.
