We are looking for an XR Instructional Designer who is passionate about learning innovation and can transform technical knowledge into engaging immersive experiences that deliver measurable learning outcomes.
This is an opportunity to work on national-scale workforce development programs, safety training initiatives, and future-focused educational projects that have real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an XR Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing immersive learning experiences that bridge instructional excellence with emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing competency-based learning pathways, lesson structures, assessments, and certification journeys
• Translating technical documentation, SOPs, operational procedures, and safety standards into engaging immersive learning experiences
• Developing scenario-based VR and XR training modules for industries including Oil & Gas, Industrial Operations, Education, Healthcare, and Corporate Learning
• Creating storyboards, scripts, learner interactions, assessments, and instructional content
• Building and configuring immersive training content using industry-leading XR authoring platforms (training provided)
• Working closely with subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy and learning effectiveness
• Supporting pilot programs, client workshops, demonstrations, and user acceptance testing
• Maintaining content quality standards, documentation, version control, and continuous improvement processes
• Collaborating with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project deliver
