About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CMPC Assistant Manager (Construction Method & Planning Cell – Construction Engineering) to support construction methodology, planning, and engineering activities for a major high-speed railway project in the UAE. This role involves assisting in the development of construction methods, sequencing, and planning while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the Construction Method & Planning Cell (CMPC) for civil, structural, and railway works
Support the development, review, and optimization of construction methodologies, sequences, and work plans
Coordinate with design, construction, and project management teams to resolve technical, operational, and interface issues
Monitor progress, resource allocation, and productivity, and assist in implementing mitigation measures for risks or delays
Review contractor construction methods, execution plans, and schedules, providing technical feedback
Participate in value engineering exercises to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure construction methods and plans align with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in construction planning, methodology development, or construction engineering, preferably in major civil or rail projects
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and in joint venture environments
Strong knowledge of construction methods, planning, and scheduling tools
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
Based in UAE and/or able to join immediately is a strong advantage
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in high-speed rail, metro, or large transportation projects
Familiarity with construct
