Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related inquiries, providing exceptional support to internal staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist employees with system access, password resets, and account management.
• Document incidents, solutions, and procedures accurately.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Support software installations, updates, and basic system configurations.
• Maintain IT inventory and monitor system performance.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles is preferred.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and network operations.
• Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and common office software (MS Office, email systems).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
