Branch Manager-Freight Forwarding

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations, business development, customer service, and profitability of our freight forwarding and logistics branch in Oman. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a solid background in freight forwarding, shipping, customs clearance, transportation, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:-

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations including air freight, sea freight, land transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.

• Ensure smooth coordination between operations, sales, customer service, and documentation teams.

• Monitor shipment movements and ensure timely delivery of cargo.

• Maintain compliance with Oman customs regulations, company policies, and international logistics standards.

• Resolve operational issues, delays, and customer escalations efficiently.

Business Development & Sales:-

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch revenue and profitability targets.

• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents.

• Lead the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.

• Conduct market analysis and competitor monitoring.

Financial & Administrative Management:-

• Manage branch budgets, expenses, profitability, and cost control measures.

• Monitor invoicing, receivables, and payment collections.

• Prepare branch performance reports and management updates.

• Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.

Team Leadership:-

• Lead, motivate, and supervise branch staff.

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and training.

• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and a positive work culture.

• Coordinate recruitment and manpower planning for the branch.
