Health Specialist

Role Description The Health Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Qasim, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supporting the health and well-being of individuals participating in tourism and hospitality activities, with attention to preventive care and safe working environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing health needs, providing basic health guidance, coordinating referrals to medical services when necessary, and contributing to health promotion initiatives. The Health Specialist will work closely with program teams to integrate occupational health and wellness practices into training, events, and field activities. The role also involves delivering awareness sessions, maintaining accurate health records, and collaborating with partners to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards.

Qualifications
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage respectfully and effectively with diverse youth, staff, and stakeholders.
• Foundational knowledge or experience in Medicine and Occupational Health to assess risks and support safe environments in tourism and hospitality settings.
• Demonstrated ability in Health Promotion, including designing or delivering educational sessions, workshops, or campaigns focused on wellness and prevention.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural, youth-focused environments and adapt health messaging to different audiences.
• Relevant degree or diploma in public health, nursing, medicine, occupational health, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in workplace and community settings.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage documentation and reports reliably.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is an advantage.
