JOB TITLE: CREDIT COUNSELOR
Job Summary
The Credit Counselor is responsible for managing delinquent customers, assessing financial situations, providing credit counselling, and executing structured repayment solutions while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage assigned delinquent portfolio with full ownership
• Contact customers via calls, email, and skip tracing
• Conduct credit counselling sessions to explain financial impact and consequences of non-payment, including credit history damage and future implications
• Assess financial position and repayment capacity
• Negotiate settlements, payment plans, and restructuring options
• Achieve KPIs: contactability, conversion, and CPTP targets
• Build repayment pipeline and ensure follow-up conversions
• Drive portfolio churn to improve customer reach and contactability
• Maintain CRM accuracy and proper documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank and client policies
• Meet assigned recovery and billing targets
Core Requirements
• 1–3 years collections / credit experience
• UAE experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Business or related field
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer handling skills
• CRM and basic MIS knowledge
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
