Financial Controller

Role Description The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Manama, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting across all ventures. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and supervising accounting processes such as month-end and year-end closings. The role involves leading budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and performance reporting. The Financial Controller will implement and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinate with external auditors and financial institutions. This role collaborates closely with leadership and operational teams to align financial practices with business objectives and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage core financial processes effectively.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for multiple business units.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and supporting data-driven decisions.
• Experience implementing internal controls, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and coordinating audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong skills in spreadsheet and reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-venture environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership.
